5HP Rotary Screw Air Compressor - 80 Gallon (SS05)

The SS05 is a 5 HP oil-injected rotary screw compressor designed for continuous operation, with a 100 percent duty cycle for plants that run air all day. Output is 16 CFM @ 150 PSI / 19 CFM @ 125 PSI, and it operates on 208-230V/460V single-phase or three-phase power at 60 Hz; expected current draw is 1-phase 24A @ 230V; 3-phase 16A @ 230V, 8A @ 480V. The airend is German-made, with omega-profile rotors, and the oil system uses a spin-on oil separator that holds oil carryover to about 3 ppm. An open-frame layout gives easy access for service, and a bolt-on air/oil cooler can be swapped without disturbing the rest of the package. A single-solenoid control scheme keeps the controls simple. Power comes from a totally enclosed, fan-cooled (TEFC) motor. Vibration isolation pads are supplied, and a heavy-duty air filter protects the airend.
